FEST 2019

Learning and Teaching Fest 2019: Registration now open

Theme: Innovation

This year’s Learning and Teaching Fest will be held on Wednesday 3rd July 2019 in the Learning Gateway Building, Fusehill Street campus, Carlisle. The theme of this year’s Fest is “Innovation”.

The conference will look at how innovative practice from across the University impacts on, and drives Learning, Teaching and Assessment. There will be a range of interactive sessions from across the institution in which you can gain insight into different and effective practice that you can adapt for the benefit of your own learners. We also have sessions from academic; professional support teams and students.

Our Vice Chancellor Professor Julie Mennell, will open the event with the afternoon Keynote provided by our Pro Vice Chancellor Academic, Professor Rob Trimble. Fest 2019 will see over 32 parallel sessions centred around the themes which underpin our LTA strategy.

Fest is an important event for our University community. All staff are strongly encouraged to attend to help develop new ways of thinking, working across academic and professional services teams.  A full draft programme is available click here to view and to register for the event please click here. Closing date for registration Friday 17th May 2019
